Analyze Any X (Twitter) Account

Fedica's X (Twitter) account analysis shows you who's really behind any account before you engage with it: their brand affinity, top influencers, audience demographics, and engagement patterns. Built for social media managers and creators vetting competitors, prospects, or collaborators, Fedica also finds common followers between any two accounts, down to the city level.

See Who's Behind Any Account

Fedica turns any account into a full audience profile before you decide to engage with it.
  • Influence distribution: understand how influence is spread across an account's followers.
  • Top influencers: identify the top influencers within any account's community.
  • Common followers: find common followers between any two accounts.
  • Brand affinity: see which brands an account's audience actually likes and interacts with.
  • Audience Quality: assess how many bots and fake followers are within their audience.

See When and Where Their Audience Is

Fedica breaks down an account's audience by activity and location, not just headcount.
Signal What you get
Most engaged time zones See when an account's audience is actually active.
Engagement reach and post data Measure engagement reach and post performance.
Interactive location map View an interactive, exportable followers map of their X audience, down to the city level.

Why Analyze Someone Else's Account

Account analysis turns guesswork about a competitor or prospect into a documented decision.
  • Competitor analysis: understand a competitor's audience, content, and follower demographics before you plan your own strategy. For example, if your competitor has significant following in California, you would know that the market there has higher percentage of potential customers, but could also mean it would be more competitive
  • Vet influencers before engaging: confirm an influencer's audience actually matches your target market before committing to a collaboration. Some influencers have inflated numbers, or fake followers, or their follower demographics are not a good match. Fedica's analysis helps you understand if their audience is a match or not (e.g. concentration in target geography), or if the audience is inactive or of bad quality.
  • Data-driven campaign decisions: use influence distribution and common-follower data to decide who to partner with and how to reach new target followers.
  • View full follower list: Fedica sorts follower and following lists by the account follower count, this enables you to see the most influential followers of a given account. X (Twitter) limits you to viewing only 50 accounts at a time directly on the platform; with Fedica you can view the full list, no matter how large.

One capability here stands apart: build a tailored audience from a competitor's followers, then send it straight to X Ads with a single click in Fedica.

How X (Twitter) Account Analysis Works

This works on any connected or unconnected X account, and also on Bluesky and Mastodon.
  1. Under the Research menu, select "Analyze an account" then click "Create Report"
  2. Enter the handle (username) of the account you want to analyze.
  3. Select one of three types of analysis: Followers only, Following or Followers + Engagement
  4. Clicking calculate would pull the stats about this account, then click Start Now to create the analysis
  5. Fedica pulls that account's audience data: demographics, languages, time zones, and location. If you requested engagement it also pulls their posts and engagement metrics
  6. Review their brand affinity, top influencers, and influence distribution.
  7. Check for common followers between that account and yours - or any other account you have analyzed.
  8. Near each chart, the 3 dots allow you to act on that data, e.g. downloading the metrics or adding accounts to lists
  9. You can also download the list of accounts (subject to platform and your subscription limits, please see the plans page for more details)
  10. Use what you find to plan your competitor strategy, vet a collaboration, or target new followers.
