Concerts, sporting events, twitter chats, politics… So many hashtags and so much data to analyze – and Fedica can do that.
Over in France right now they are all about those hard core cyclists pedalling their way through the Tour De France and people are talking about it all over Twitter with the hashtag #TDF.
Here are some of the tweets:

The cyclists are tweeting, the fans are tweeting, the sponsors are tweeting, and for the people stuck at thir desks and unable to watch live, the twitter feed really does give you an up to the moment picture of what’s happening. The conversation covers it all, including cycling technique, fans supporting their favourites, and debate on cycling politics.
We ran our basic hashtag tracking report (100 tweets) and discovered the following:
- Tweeters of the #TDF hashtag lived in 21 countries and 31 cities – See the countries and cities on interactive map
- Maximum reach of the tweets: 238,000
- Top 3 cities: La Valette du Var, Leeds, Bergambact
- Only 25% of tweets were original, the rest were retweets and replies
- The Tweeter with the most followers and the most retweeted tweets was Lotto Belisol @Lotto_Belisol
