X (formerly Twitter) still shows you who liked your post. It just doesn’t show anyone else.
Yes, X shows who liked your post, but only to you. On x.com, open the post’s ⋯ menu, choose View post activity and click the Likes tab. Nobody else can see who liked your post, and you can’t see who liked anyone else’s: X made likes private for everyone in June 2024.
The Likes tab on other people’s profiles is gone too. Here’s what you can see, where to find it, and how to see who likes your posts most across all of them.
How to See Who Liked Your Post on X
The list of people who liked your post lives in Post activity, a screen only the post’s author gets. Here’s how to open it on x.com:
- Open your post.
- Click the ⋯ menu at the top right of the post.
- Choose View post activity.
- Click the Likes tab.

There’s a shortcut, too. Under your post, next to the date and view count, X shows a View activity › link that opens the same screen.
Post activity has three tabs: Quotes, Reposts and Likes. The Likes tab lists every account that liked the post, with its bio and a Follow or Following button, so you can follow back without leaving the list.

What X Doesn’t Show
X keeps likes between the person who liked a post and the person who wrote it. On someone else’s post, Post activity has two tabs instead of three: Quotes and Reposts. The like count stays visible, but the names behind it don’t.

Profiles work the same way. Another account’s profile shows Posts, Replies, Reposts and Media, with no Likes tab. Your own Likes tab is still there, and only you can see it.

Here’s what X shows you, as of October 2026:
| Your posts and profile | Someone else’s posts and profile | |
|---|---|---|
| Like count | Yes | Yes |
| Who liked a post | Yes, in Post activity → Likes | No |
| Who reposted or quoted a post | Yes | Yes |
| Likes tab on the profile | Yes, visible only to you | No |
Why X Made Likes Private
X made likes private for every account in June 2024. X Engineering announced it on the platform: “This week we’re making Likes private for everyone to better protect your privacy.” Engadget reported the change on June 11, 2024.
Before that, hiding your Likes tab was an X Premium perk, added in 2023. The 2024 change made private likes the default for everyone.
X Engineering also said that “Like count and other metrics for your own posts will still show up under notifications.” So when someone likes your post, you still find out.
Seeing Who Likes Your Posts Most
X shows likers one post at a time. That’s fine for a single post, but it can’t tell you who liked ten of your posts this month, or who your most loyal supporters are.
That’s where Fedica comes in. Fedica collects every account that engages with your posts and counts how often each one did it over a period you pick. You get the totals in two places:
- Engagement dashboard: filter to likes only to see how many of your posts each account liked in the period.
- Top Interactors: one engagement count per account, combining likes, replies and reposts, with whether each account follows you.

In the example above, 643 accounts engaged with the account’s posts since October 1, 2025, and the top one did it 34 times. Fedica’s Top Interactors page covers the export options and demographics. If you post on Bluesky or Mastodon too, the guide to seeing who liked your posts across platforms covers those.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you see who liked someone else’s post on X?
No. Since June 2024, only the author of an X post can see who liked it. On someone else’s post, you see the like count, and Post activity shows only the Quotes and Reposts tabs.
Does someone know if you like their post on X?
Yes. The author of a post can see every account that liked it in Post activity, and likes on their posts show up in their notifications.
Can anyone see the posts I’ve liked on X?
No. Your Likes tab is visible only to you. Other people see your profile’s Posts, Replies, Reposts and Media tabs, but not Likes.
How can I see who likes my posts the most?
X shows likers one post at a time, so you’d have to open each post’s activity. Fedica’s Engagement dashboard counts likes per account across all your posts for a period you choose, and Top Interactors ranks accounts by their total engagements.
