Your Fedica reports have always lived inside Fedica. To answer “how did last month go?” you logged in, opened the engagement dashboard, and copied the numbers into whatever you were actually working in. This month that changes: your analytics and research reports can now go straight to Claude, ChatGPT, or your own code.
Fedica now has an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, so your AI assistant can schedule posts, summarize your analytics, and read your research reports. Many of the stats in Fedica’s engagement, audience analysis and research reports are also available in the Fedica API, alongside scheduling. Bulk Upload files can set post titles and image alt text, Bluesky shows richer link cards for standard.site articles, threads can be spaced down to the second, and the Unified Social Inbox lets you pick its accounts and repost Threads posts.
Here’s what each one does, and where to find it.
| What’s new | Works with | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Fedica MCP | Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT | Connect Fedica in your AI assistant |

Fedica MCP for Claude and ChatGPT
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use tools from other apps. Fedica’s MCP server gives Claude and ChatGPT access to your Fedica account, so you can ask in plain language instead of clicking through the dashboard.
Here’s what your assistant can do once it’s connected:
- Schedule posts and threads. Describe the post, name the accounts, and pick a time or a Pipeline. Each account can get its own text.
- Summarize your analytics. Follower counts, audience demographics, engagements compared with the previous period, and your best time to post.
- Read your research reports. Analyze, compare, audit and search reports that are already in your account. Start a new report in Fedica, and once it shows Complete, your assistant can pull the results.
We tried it on our own accounts. One question to Claude got back a table of followers, new followers and unfollows for nine platforms, from 357,668 on X down to 43 on Pixelfed.
The MCP server is included on Fedica’s paid plans, and it works with team accounts you manage too, so an agency can name a client and the assistant switches to that client’s accounts. The setup steps and example prompts are on Fedica’s Social Media MCP Server for Claude and Social Media MCP Server for ChatGPT pages.
Analytics and Research in the Fedica API
The Fedica API used to be about publishing. It now returns analytics and research data as well, so the numbers can feed your own dashboard, a client report, or a spreadsheet that updates itself.
The new endpoints cover:
- Analytics: account overview, audience analytics, growth history, best time to post, and engagements.
- Research: a list of your reports, plus the results of analyze, compare, audit and search reports.
Every request uses the same Bearer token as scheduling. The endpoints, parameters and sample requests are in Fedica’s API documentation.
Standard.site Link Cards on Bluesky
A link on Bluesky usually gets a plain card: a headline, a thumbnail and a domain. Articles published with standard.site, a long-form publishing format on the AT Protocol, can get a richer one with the publication’s name and icon, the author, a date or reading time, and a Subscribe button.
Bluesky only draws that card when the post says which standard.site article the link belongs to. Fedica now adds that automatically, so links to Leaflet, pckt, Offprint, Micro.blog, WordPress and other standard.site articles get the enhanced card when Fedica posts them. It works in scheduled posts, threads, RSS posting and bulk uploads, on every plan.
The before-and-after cards are in our post on standard.site link cards on Bluesky.
Titles and Alt Text in Bulk Upload
Fedica’s Bulk Upload file has two new kinds of column.
- Title sets the post title on platforms that use one: YouTube, Pinterest, PeerTube, and TikTok photo posts. A row that also goes to X or Bluesky still works, since those networks ignore the title.
- AltText1 to AltText20 set the alt text for each image, in the same order as Image1 to Image20.
Here’s a time-saver. If an image comes from your Fedica media library and already has alt text there, leave its AltText cell empty and Fedica uses the media library’s alt text. Fill the cell in only when you want different alt text for that post.
Every column, with a sample file, is in our guide on how to bulk schedule social media posts from a CSV.
Better Threads
Fedica can build a thread for you when one post is going to several platforms with different character limits. We made a few improvements to that automatic thread creation. In August, we added the option to optimize your threads for each platform, since each one has its own character limit. Sometimes you’d rather have the thread look the same everywhere, though. Now a popup asks how you’d like your thread split.
Spread threads got more precise, too. With Spread posts turned on, the Time between posts in a thread now takes hours, minutes and seconds, down to a 1-second gap. A three-post thread set to 9:00:00 with a gap of 1 minute 25 seconds goes out at 9:00:00, 9:01:25 and 9:02:50. Spread posts works when you schedule threads on X, Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads, and is available on paid plans.
When a gap helps, and how long to make it, is covered in how to space out thread posts down to the second.
Choose Which Accounts Appear in Your Inbox
The Unified Social Inbox used to show every account you’ve connected to Fedica. Now you pick which social media accounts appear there. Simply select the gear icon above the social accounts to enable or disable each.

That’s handy when you connect an account for scheduling or analytics but someone else answers its messages, or when a quiet test account keeps taking up space in the list.
Repost Threads Posts From the Inbox
Posts from Meta’s Threads that arrive in the Unified Social Inbox can now be reposted, right from the inbox. You don’t need to open the Threads app to share a mention or a post you want your followers to see.

Fedica’s social media inbox page lists every platform the inbox covers and which ones support direct messages.
